Travelling
Hi everyone
Just a quick line to share our news and photos taken on the top of Crown Point Burnley last week. We decided to get all togged up and take a walk over the tops – whoweeee was it a blowey one. Made it to the Singing Ringing Tree - a Panoptican
I must admit we were a little disappointed – not because it was a misty drizzly day and the view was obscured (we can always go back on a clearer day) but we were led to belive that it played a tune. We like to walk on Blackpool front and listen to the tall pipes playing a ‘tune’ in the wind – but this one sort of gave a low hum occasionally. Like I said – a little disappointed.
Maybe the wind wasn’t the ‘right sort’ of wind – we will give it another go though – and take a flask of hot chocolate next time – we were frooozzen.

Happiness,
Motivation ….. have been shipped !! YEAH
I just got word they are on their way. The start of my new drive to get it going in full flow again. Thanks to all my friends and loved ones who have continued to give me encouragement and support through the last few weeks – ‘Practice What You Preach JULIE’ was the overall cry. It’s good to know I have not lost belief in myself and my abilities.
Here’s a sneak preview of my new cards. www.cambiar.co.uk is due for a major overhaul soon as well – whilst Brent is building apaches (that’s server talk – not plastic American Indian models) I will be busy developing the new programmes we have purchased for online courses, online training, building online communities and quick networking opportunities.
The future is BRIGHT
Much love n stuff
Thanks for dropping by – comments welcome as usual

Fun Stuff,
Happiness Hi everyone
I grew up in households that had ‘poofies’ – all sorts of wonderful kinds of tapestry or brocade ’footstools’, wood with straw weave tops, leather rounds collected from exotic places we travelled to, stuffed to the limit with newspapers and of course the very posh versions – all leather, hollow in the middle for storage and with castors. Granted it was the 1970s when they were all the rage but Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee how I
have longed for something similar in my own household for such a long time. WELL – they say ask and the Universe will deliver – or in this case a very good antiques auctioneer in Leyland and an extremely thoughtful and caring husband.
Yeah – I now am the owner and user of a beautiful top quality full leather (green) poofie that the top lifts off to reveal a very respectful sized compartment for the storage of goodies – in my case it will be my latest read, Mist Over Pendle by Robert Neill, my sketch book and an embroidery project. ARhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bliss – must be time to put my feet up with a lovely glass of Rioja …. perhaps a wine table would be useful now ….
Big grins – lots of love n stuff

… you’re in my zone! …. you’re in my zone!! was the general cry from a friend of mine after recently spending some time out with a guy new to her circle. I KNOW WHAT SHE MEANS!!! Have you ever had a guy who WILL insist on walking as if they are attached to your upper arm or shoulder blade?? HOW ANNOYING!! Especially when they are not your ’significant other’. I’m not sure what school of interpersonal skills or ‘come on signs’ they attended but they seriously need to look at the curriculum.
Gosh – that was a rant wasn’t it … many apols – but when my friend starting telling me about her experience it pushed a few buttons.
It started me thinking about Zones in general and I have noticed that this last few weeks we (meaning me and Brent) have been ‘in the zone’ … totally focused, working hard and not stressing … in fact work has been great fun. I’ve been corresponding with people all over the world about our products and sending out parcels most days. Getting up has been something to look forward to … Weird???
Anyhow – watching balloons made me think about Zones as well and about changes in perspectives. See the balloon in the first photo on the ground – ti’s enormous … see it 10 minutes later and tis tiny … that’s what life is like me thinks. Things that seem mega important at one time in life after a while no longer are overwhelmingly important – in fact it is difficult to remember what all the fuss was about …
Well … after that ramble I shall sign off and go do something non important – or I may write to a lovely guy and his wife stationed with the army abroad who have just purchased a book from me on tinternet – now that would be time well spent me thinks !

Motivation Hello all
As some of you know we were due to go to the annual stamp fair held at York Racecourse and do the whole
‘York Tourist’ thing this weekend - however, the rains came down all week and it was particularly cold. Mad! Middle of July and we put the central heating on.
So – it was a playing in doors couple of day (and of course a jaunt to Boundary Mill) Photos to follow in another blog and news of purchases. I got busy being creative – it seems all the rage these days to make your own cards so I thought I would have a go. The last time I made my own cards was at junior school. It was a very satisfying hour - I particularly enjoyed the watercolouring part (as usual) – not keen on the glue part though – not my thing getting messy!
Anyway – ‘here’s some I made earlier’ to quote a very famous children’s TV programme. I even sent one to a very good friend of mine who has just moved house. Hope she liked it and didn’t think I was being a cheapskate!!??!!
Gosh – I’ve just noticed the time and I have a busy day tomorrow. So here’s Good Night from me. Sleep Tight.

Motivation Have you ever had a go at taking psychometric tests? NO? Neither had I up until this
week. I am considering continuing my studies into Life Coaching and at the more advanced level one needs to get to know oneself very well – as well as getting to know clients. Part of the getting to know yourself part is to engage (if you so wish) in a few ‘tests’. It’s the first time I’ve taken one and the results are fascinating. They do of course come with the advice (which I give my clients already) that they represent how you feel today and are based on your expriences todate, and, are only indicators, take the test again tomorrow and the results could be different. I am always saying one should keep an open mind so I plunged in ….
It turns out that I am a Protector: (sounds like me already) Protectors are patient, modest and diligent. They show great compassion and support for others – often by taking care of the day-to-day practical details. They are not particularly interested in logical or technical things, preferring a more personal touch and they enjoy being helpful, persistent, organised and thorough.
I’ve run the results past a couple of friends already and they say ‘no surprises there then!’ WHAT DO THEY MEAN??? So roughly translated I guess that means that I am true to who I am and know myself very well indeed.
On that note – I know I now need a cuppa tea in my beautiful new china cup and saucer bought from Boundary Mill this afternoon (more on that to follow).
Thanks for listening

Hello everyone
Sorry about the long silence but we’ve been just so sooooooo busy – it’s mad!!
It’s time to move on now very quickly as my business is growing and growing (great news eh?). I seem to have left academia and training behind me for now and am moving rapidly back into one of my major areas of strength – entreprenuership. To all who know me – you know that means buying and selling stuff. Just like the good old days.
The last few weeks have been great – we never stop – out and about all the time meeting new people and constantly feeling stimulated and motivated. The side effects are: house is getting a major sort out – that’s the photo – all my old textbooks are being advertized (many have sold already as I type) AND we are even more pleased to report an increase in health and fitness levels.
Our cats seem a bit confused at times about all the boxes that get packed and unpacked. I had to sort out the blanket box the other day which included Xena’s favourite chenile blanket. I think she thought we might be selling it so she quickly staked her claim. So sweet ….
Well …. having said that I now need to sign off … my ‘inbox’ of questions is peeping at me again … eeeeeeeeeeeeee BIG GRINS.

Travelling … well it looks like I’m a once a month blogger doesn’t it?
Hello everyone – thanks for tuning in.
Like I said it seems as if it is my habit to write a little something once a month judging by my previous posts. It isn’t like anything never happens in my life … just I always seem to be doing ’something else’ whenever it crosses my mind to have a blog.
So … what’s happened this last month. Well – as you can probably guess from the photo I entered the Race for Life in aid of cancer research AND I completed the course in good time. I fully expected it to take me well over an hour – if not an hour and a half but I managed to get round in just over 50 minutes. WHOWEEEE – that’s quite a surprise for me because I’m not the fittest of people AND I’ve never ever done anything like it before in my life… IT WAS GREAT!!!
One of my bestest mates Gill came with me as support and to also have a go – see other photo – we enjoyed it so much we’re going to have a go next year again all being well.
I’ve also had a birthday!! A lovely time – Brent cooked me a slap up birthday breakfast, there were presents, phone calls, visits and meals out – BBQ Ribs & Chicken at the Queensway in Lytham – Loverrlllly – just what I like.
So .. that’s it for significant events that I would like to chat about – well – those that I can think of at the moment anyway. Anything else that comes to mind I’ll let you know.
Signing off with love n stuff

Motivation,
Travelling … well I got there ‘eventually’ – to quote my mother’s neighbour. It seemed that the fates were conspiring to stop me going up to Newcastle – first I was ill – then Brent was ill – then my mum was ill – then the weather turned bad- and on … and on … and on.
Like I said – I got there AND I am happy to say I got back!! It’s simply years since I ventured anywhere on my own – let alone on trains right across the country and THEN through a very very busy city centre on the Underground Metro system. Well – I amaze myself. OOooooooooooo where next eh??
Anyroad – mum was fine – obviously back on her feet as you can see from the photo. We’re both squinting so much because the sun was absolutely beautiful – clear blue sky – fresh sea breeze and the trees were in bloom.
We spent a good few hours reminising about past holidays – always close to my heart and I came home with quite a few photos to replace all those I lost in the flood. Mum also asked me to take home my lovely tiny tears doll that I had when I was a child because she was worried something might happen to her. So – teeny tiny is now sat happily on the bedding box with old ted, looking very pink in her new all in one jumpsuit. THANKS MUM!
See you again soon hopefully – keep well!!

…. was had by all. We’ve been so busy that I haven’t had time to put pen to paper or should it be fingertips to keyboard??
Along with working hard on a new website (soon to be revealed) we’ve had a smashing jaunt to the coast – always one of my favourite occupations – as you already know. The weather was great on Thursday and the sky was a maginificent shade of blue. I’ve captured a little bit of it’s richness I think in my photo of the RNLI Memorial at St Annes. The memorial is for the 27 lifeboat volunteers from St Annes and Southport who died on 9 and 10 December 1886 attempting to rescue the crew of the German barque Mexico, which ran aground off Southport in a gale. If you would like to know more you can read all about it on the RNLI website
The wind was blowing a gale and the tide was in – this isn’t something we see that often. It must be a bit unusual and catch people off guard because I remember some children getting stuck (cut off from the
land) under the pier at one time and having to climb up the structure underneath. If memory serves me right my cousin Ian Clark who ran the pier at that time needed to pull up some decking and help them up (or something like that??) Perhaps other family members can fill in the blanks for me?
I digress … well – the wind of course prompted us to buy a new kite (see photo). My very own kite … TAKE NOTE Jacky & Col … not as good as yours but a good starter kite all the same.
Today we’ve spent at the car boot – you guessed it – a full boot of goodies bought at very low prices. THE find for the month has got to be a Quireboys video ‘Bitter Sweet and Live’ – their first live video filmed at the Town & Country Club in October 1992. Watching and listening now and enjoying every gravelly note – well done Spike Gray – I really like the Pirate Look.
So – on that note and a few other riffs I’ll sign off. This has been a very long entry but who knows when I’ll get chance to make another … even busier week next week planned.
