And Rain Stopped Play ….

Hello all

As some of you know we were due to go to the annual stamp fair held at York Racecourse and do the whole ‘York Tourist’ thing this weekend - however, the rains came down all week and it was particularly cold. Mad! Middle of July and we put the central heating on.

So – it was a playing in doors couple of day (and of course a jaunt to Boundary Mill) Photos to follow in another blog and news of purchases.  I got busy being creative – it seems all the rage these days to make your own cards so I thought I would have a go.  The last time I made my own cards was at junior school.  It was a very satisfying hour - I particularly enjoyed the watercolouring part (as usual) – not keen on the glue part though – not my thing getting messy!

Anyway – ‘here’s some I made earlier’ to quote a very famous children’s TV programme.  I even sent one to a very good friend of mine who has just moved house. Hope she liked it and didn’t think I was being a cheapskate!!??!!

Gosh – I’ve just noticed the time and I have a busy day tomorrow. So here’s Good Night from me. Sleep Tight.
