A bit of nostalgia ….

Hello all my friends 

Whow – well we’ve been so busy living life that we have had very little time to blog about it.   Summer hols are finally here but unfortunately the summer weather has not been in our favour.  Car boots have been cancelled, likewise with picnic trips to parks, boating trips and other outdoor activities. Arrhh well – not to worry – at least we live in the UKs Mill Shop Central Country.  Boundary Mill last week (overdosed on chocolates), Townley Garden Centre and Coffee Shop Tuesday (bought a fab door mat with three cats on it), and the best day of all so far – THE COAST!!

 YEAH – I just adore the seaside – first stop Freeport – nearly filled the boot with bargain buys in M&S and had a real nostalgic trip in a shop called Pasttimes – we bought ourselves a great phone – black, and really really dials – just like the one my grannie had. It even rings like hers did – brill!!!

A quick visit the the North Euston Hotel at lunchtime. We had our wedding reception there and stayed in the Bridal Suite (the one above the main entrance with the massive balcony). What lovely lovely memories – well over 25 years ago now – gosh how time moves on eh?

Then it was home for both of us to settle down with a delicious dinner and a good watch of Stargates.
